Our Children's Safety Is At Risk

Our children's safety is at risk when they are 20 minutes late (or don't show up at all) to pick up our children. We are having some major problems with the West Des Moines Schools bus transportation system. No one showed up to pick up our kids on Wednesday, possibly because the corner and time they changed it to, the 5th time, doesn't exist and they actually argued with my friend/neighbor about it. They were 20 minutes late picking them up this morning and we had to call this morning, to tell the bus driver where to go to pick them up and our children weren't dropped off until 4:55pm tonight. We tried all the numbers we had at the Transportation Department and no one would answer their phones so then we called the school at 4:30 and the secretary told us that she heard that the buses didn't show up until 4:20pm it pick up the kids. I am speaking for 5 families (that I talked to this afternoon) when I say that we are very disappointed in the West Des Moines Schools Transportation Department. We expect more.
